The Eagle’s Nest was the perfect getaway for our little family! The first thing that hits you is the lake which is literally steps from the back porch. The view was unreal. The lake itself was so serene and peaceful. Having access to kayaks was such a fun amenity! The cabin itself was pristine and cozy! The beds were extremely comfortable and the place was stocked with everything we needed to make us feel at home. Jesse and Mya even had supplies for smores to make at the fire pit which I thought was such a cute and thoughtful touch. The highlight of the cabin of course was the “ eagles nest” on the second floor. My son loved it! It was like having his own treehouse indoors. Even my husband and I slept up there a few times! Jesse and Mya were welcoming, attentive, and quick to respond. We couldn’t ask for better hosts. We had such a memorable time at the Eagles nest and we honestly cannot wait to come back!

This is a favorite place for me and my family to stay. The lake and home is beautiful and everything you want at a lake house! We have stayed here before and will continue staying at this lake retreat! Really our favorite lake house to visit!

This lovely cabin was incredibly cozy, and had great access to the lake, and nearby provisions at the local market. The hosts were very responsive to our inquiries and very helpful with their suggestions. We were very happy with our stay, especially with the little touches like the s'more station for the fire pit, and the fun "eagles nest" loft. I hope many others can experience this little gem in the woods like we did.

We had a very relaxing time at this lake house. We also drove to Acadia National Park one day, it’s a bit of a drive, but so worth it to see! We really enjoyed being outside and did a fire one evening and did some stargazing. Wish it was warmer and we would have used the kayaks! Maybe next time!

Jesse was quick to respond, and thorough regarding instructions. I had trouble with Apps but that was completely my error, Jesse was quick to make my entry easy. The cottage is right ON the water, well as close as you can be without being in the water! Even caught a small mouth bass right off the pier! So nice to set out on the porch or pier and watch the sky change colors in the evening with a glass of wine, or in the morning with a cup of coffee. A nice touch was the bottle of wine and a s’mores kit. Bed was comfortable, and the lake area was quiet, made sleeping easy. Full size stove, cookware, dishes, and refrigerator are everything you need to cook a meal or two. Plenty of hot water for showers, too. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and comfortable amenities while you stay at Jesse & May’s place!

Our 2 night stay at Jesse and Maya’s lakeside cabin was the perfect end to our week in Maine. It is truly the most calm and relaxing setting and the sweet cabin was clean and charming. We appreciated the extra touches of wine and s’more’s makings, and enjoyed kayaking and evenings by the fire pit . The early morning and evening light on the lake was beautiful. Jesse was quick to respond and very communicative. We loved everything about our stay and hope to return.

We did not want to leave! As soon as our 17-year-old daughter walked in, she said, “I’m never leaving.” We all felt that way! Our hosts were so kind and extremely quick to respond to any questions. The location was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful stay on a lake with loons serenading us. I wouldn’t change a thing. Thanks for the memories. I hope to return someday.
